This bitey Vermentino was produced from a lean harvest after a flooded season. As such, its flavour has a real punchiness. There is a touch of salt and minerality drawn from the red soils, granite sands and river gravel the vines were grown in. More forward flavours are green apple, sharp citrus and bright acidity from the leaner fruits. The riper fruits mixed in give a lash of gentler, juicier tropical fruit flavours. Delicious and so very drinkable.
